Earth Station Teleports are the portals for the satellite in space into the terrestrial network. The Teleport consists of a large antenna, amplifiers and frequency conversion equipment that support the data modulators and demodulators that interface to the terrestrial network. Additional hardware and software is required to manage and support the equipment and the services.
